The following is a table detailing the different fin clips used to identify the various lots of fish stocked as part of the DEC's pen rearing study at Oak Orchard Creek and the Lower Niagara River. Fin clips were alternated between the two sites yearly so that the fish could be identified by clip and year class (age) to determine which sub group a fin clipped fish belonged to.
